Dickerson Aggregates
Road construction and site development would not be possible without raw materials such as coquina rock, shell rock and sand.
Dickerson Aggregates operates one asphalt plant, a coquina rock mine in Fort Drum and a coquina rock mine in Fort Pierce. The material that we mine is predominantly coquina rock. The term “Coquina” is sometimes used interchangeably with limestone or limerock. We also mine common fill, stabilizer, shell rock, sand and various other specialty products.
What is unique about Dickerson Aggregates is that the materials that we mine stay right here in Florida – supporting construction projects throughout the Sunshine State. Once mining is completed, we carefully proceed with reclamation to ensure the site is beneficial to the community.
Dickerson has established a long list of satisfied customers who depend on our high quality products and strong work ethic.
