Indrio Mine

Indrio Mine

Our “Indrio Mine,” also know as the “Capron Trails Mine,” is roughly a 2,000-acre property located in Northern St. Lucie County between Ft. Pierce and Vero Beach. Sitting just off the Indrio Road interchange on I-95, the mine site is within 10 minutes of either Ft. Pierce or Vero Beach. Originally started in the 1980’s, Dickerson took over the operation in 1998. FDOT approval to supply Coquina Base Rock (a material sometimes associated with limerock) was received in June of 1999. The site sits on the Anastasia Formation, which is processed into base rock. The operation supplies other materials including, common fill, shell rock, washed shell, stabilizer, dredge sand, washed sand, #57 stone, #89 size stone, lime rock screenings, #4 stone (used in construction entrances as an anti-tracking material) and #67 size stone. Our operation is open Monday through Friday year round.

The operation can handle the largest and smallest of projects from commercial to residential. All materials are sold by the Ton Measurement across our twin scale facilities. Scale weigh tickets are issued for each load. We also utilize a digital video system to log each transaction.
