Question: What counties does Dickerson work in?
Answer: Primarily we work in St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee and Indian River counties.
Question: What are the directions to our office to complete an application? Answer: We are located at 3122 North 25th Street in Fort Pierce.
Coming South to Fort Pierce:
Take US 1 to the traffic light at 25th Street/MLK Blvd. and make a right; our building is located on the left just before you reach the intersection of 25th and St. Lucie Blvd. From I-95 head south to the Orange Ave. exit and head east to 25th Street. Take 25th Street north just passed St. Lucie Blvd. and our building will be on your right.
Coming North to Fort Pierce:

Question: What is our criteria for hiring drivers?
Answer: All drivers must have a valid class A/B CDL with no reckless driving, careless driving, DUI’s or DWI’s. All reportable accidents will be under cautious consideration.

Answer: No
Question: If I have a CDL permit will Dickerson help me get my CDL D/L?
Answer: No
Question: How long will my application be on file?
Answer: Your application will be on file for 30 days.
Question: Will I receive a phone call after I complete my application?
Answer: Human Resources will contact you within 2-4 days after you submit your application ONLY if we are interested in hiring you.
Question: How old must I be to work for Dickerson?
Answer: You must be 18 years of age or older.
Question: Do I need to bring any form of ID with my application?
Answer: Yes, please bring a photo ID with you.
Question: Does Dickerson offer any part-time positions?
Answer: No part-time positions are available.
Question: Does Dickerson hire any owner operators?
Answer: No.
Question: Will I receive an interview when I turn in my application?
Answer: A preliminary interview will be conducted once you complete your application or you bring in a completed application to the main office. Preliminary interviews are conducted between the hours of 9-11 am and 2-4 pm, Monday through Friday. If you are unable to make those hours please contact our HR department for alternative arrangements.
Question: Does Dickerson guarantee 40 hours of work per week?
Answer: We do not guarantee 40 hours of work per week or overtime.
Question: Does Dickerson promote from within and/or is there room for advancement?
Answer: We do not guarantee over a specific period of time that you will receive advancement and/or a promotion. However, if an opportunity arises, all cases will be under consideration based on a number of deciding factors. Human Resources will post job offers on the website when available and send out flyers thru payroll.
Question: Do you hire women to work for your company?
